FAQs
1. What is Anywhere Learning?
Anywhere Learning is a company that matches students to tutors. The
tutor comes directly to your home and
provides a program based on your child's needs.
2. Do
your tutors have college degrees?
Our
tutors are college graduates,
some with masters or Ph.D. degrees,
and have proven expertise in their respective areas of study needs.
3. How do I know if my child needs
tutoring?
There are
many reasons why a child may need tutoring. He or she might be
acting out or becoming a behavior problem, may not want to go to
school, may have grades that are starting to fall, or might feel an
excessive amount of anxiety before tests. If you see any of these
problems, tutoring could be your answer.
4. How many
tutoring sessions must I commit to, and how long is a session?
Students need to work
with a tutor for at least seven hours in order to see a significant
difference in grades. You are not under any long-term contract, so
the number of sessions is up to you. The length of time for each
session is one hour.
5. Do you have
any tutors working with learning disabled or special needs children?
Yes, many of our tutors are certified for special needs and are able
to work along with your child’s IEP or 504 plan.
6. How much does
a tutoring session cost?
Anywhere Learning offers different
rates based on having one, two, or three tutoring sessions per week.
